Neighborhood

In the world of real estate we should never underestimate the meaning and influence of a neighborhood. It always matters where your apartment or your house is located. Is it safe? Is it nice? Is it good enough to raise your children or to work in? These are the questions that we are always prepared for and are happy to explore for our clients. This is the chart with the most recent updates.

Culture & Parks

The South Loop is home to 22 colleges and universities, and situated on the east side is the 57-acre Museum Campus Park, which is home to the Field Museum of Natural History, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium. Grant Park is also right at your doorstep, is very dog-friendly, and the smaller parks within offer outdoor recreation such as skating, biking, jogging, and music festivals. Being close to Lake Michigan and Northerly Island delivers stunning views of the Chicago skyline, and you can also head over to Printer’s Row to partake in Lit Fest, which is the annual festival that celebrates historic book printing and the local art scene.

Dining & Shopping

If you’re looking for a great place to dine, Printer’s Row offers a great variety of eclectic flavors and well-known restaurants, eateries, cafes, and pubs: such as Cafecito, Eleven City Diner, Sofi Restaurant, and Kasey’s Tavern. There is also no shortage of places to shop, and you can easily find whatever you need at Lincoln Common, Roosevelt Collection Shops, The Maxwell, Target, or Printer’s Row Farmers Market.

Nightlife & Entertainment

Listen to blues and jazz at the Jazz Showcase or Buddy Guy’s Legends; enjoy a nightcap at Bar Louie or Mercat a la Planxa; root for the Bears at Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field; and hear your favorite band play at the Huntington Bank Pavilion. In the South Loop, you can go to a concert, see a movie, or laugh it up at a comedy show. From ballet theatres and dance clubs, to speakeasys and sporting events – here, you can do it all, and we know you’ll enjoy yourself.
